The Time Zone owned and run by Jerry Vasilakos, a Greek Spartan who had a dream and a vision to fulfill the all Canadian dream. Leaving Greece and taking Canada by the horns, Jerry migrated to Toronto in 1956 where he worked as a server worked and schooled his way up to becoming a Sous Chef traveling throughout Canada and the United States acquiring culinary experience and learning the ropes of the hospitality business inside and out.

Jerry decided to settle in Toronto where he opened his first establishment called none other than “Jerry’s Place” and has since never looked back. It was in 1977 where he opened The Time Zone Bar and Grill nestled in the heart of Toronto located at 580 Rogers Road (Keele & Eglinton). He wanted to offer a place for people to come in and relax to have a nice meal and have a good time.

His drive for life being around new and old friends, good food and Greek music only added to his passion for enjoying the good things in life and wanting to share it with others.
